📣 2025 Avon Little League Jamboree – Event Details for Coaches & Caregivers

Dear Coaches & Caregivers,

With the 2025 Avon Little League Jamboree right around the corner, we’re excited to share all the important details to ensure the event runs smoothly and is fun for everyone involved!

🗓? Event Details

• Date: Saturday, May 10th

• Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Location: Sperry Park, Minors Field #1 (next to the snack shack)

• Arrival Time: Coaches and players (baseball & softball, all levels) should arrive by 10:45 AM.

Upon arrival, players should locate their teams in the outfield, where team name signs will be posted along the fence.

📍 An event map and parade route are attached.

🚗 Parking & Safety Reminders

• Parking is limited — please use Healthtrax or the Board of Education lots as needed.

• Do not park or walk across the new softball field. Use paved paths and designated walkways only.

• The main Sperry entrance (near Healthtrax) will be closed at 11:00 AM for the safety of attendees.

• Do not block fire trucks or emergency exits.

🎉 Event Highlights

• Opening Remarks by the Avon Little League Board

• Team Announcements & Parade: Players will be announced and parade from Minors Field #1 to Majors Field #2 — a perfect photo op for families!

• Coach Appreciation: After the parade, each coach will receive packs of baseball cards to hand out to their team.

? Family Fun Activities Include:

• Food trucks including CraftBird, Ted's Steamed Cheeseburgers, Farmington Polo Club Pizza Truck & Blue Chip Creamery 

• Inflatable slides & carnival games

• Photo booth

• D-Bat pitching clinic

• Fitness Challenge for all ages sponsored by Fitness Together

• Avon Little League merch table with new designs featuring a custom Avon Little League Vineyard Vines t-shirt

• 50/50 raffle – don’t miss your chance to win!
